The Anne Lister Walk

Inspired by the life of Anne Lister, this 5½-mile walk explores the beautiful valley of Shibden Dale around her home of Shibden Hall near Halifax. The route takes in many sites around her former estate that played important parts in her fascinating life. The route can be started at either Shibden Hall or Halifax railway station.
